Persistent WebDAV connections in linux
WebDAV usage
currently, the main usage is to sync settings of Vivaldi to all my devices, as well as Stylus Extension settings.
Gigolo
to connect to webdav, instead of the Files inbuilt connector, I use gigolo. It allows to set up secure webdav connections, that can be bookmarked, and then set to 'auto connect'. in the settings, configure Gigolo to start into system tray and minimized.

I installed it through the App Store from Zorin directly.

Startup Configuration (by ellie)
to set up Gigolo into autostart, I used 'Startup Configuration'. it allows you to chose applications directly without knowing any commands. 'Startup Applications', preinstalled by Zorin, would work, too, but I'd need to know the application launch command. 'Startup Configuration' is more userfriendly.

This, too, was available in the App Store from Zorin directly.

WebDAV future
through webdav, i can sync a lot of different things to from and to my individual devices, while being centralized on the server. I will explore automatic photo-backup to WebDAV from the linux devices, too (f.e. to transfer those screenshots above directly to the main system).
